You are invited to attend the fourth annual Minnetonka Public Schools Technology Site Visit on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. See firsthand how technology serves as an accelerator of learning and hear how Minnetonka Public Schools effectively integrates technology into everyday activities E-12. Join teachers, instructional leaders and technology staff from around the region for an in-depth, behind-the scenes, half-day tour to see the power of technology and discuss innovation in instruction.

Visitors can choose from two tour times, either a morning (7:30 am - 1 pm) or afternoon session (11 am - 4:30 pm). Both tours will visit teachers’ classrooms at a middle school and have the choice between a second tour of classrooms at Minnetonka High School or an elementary school, including Spanish and Chinese immersion classrooms. (Our Preschool/Adult Education Center will also be an option on the morning tour). All attendees will be able to attend break-out sessions with Minnetonka School District staff to learn much more and ask questions. Bus transportation between schools will be provided. Due to limited space on site, snacks will be provided, but not lunch. Registration is $50 per person. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
